model 15 3/8

The model 15 3/8 is a medium sized, lightweight, all hollowbody archtop guitar. With a solid spruce top and the intentional omission of a sustain block, it strikes a balance between a full-bodied jazz guitar and a typical semi-hollow electric guitar. The thickness of the top and the bracing system are designed to acoustically complement the electronics. The instrument offers a complex and responsive tone with an airy acoustic character that translates well to the amplified sound.

Hello, I am Lukas.

In my workshop I create modern archtops and steel string guitars with many a unique detail by hand. In my work I combine traditional elements from concert guitar, lute and viol making with modern processing techniques and materials.
My goal is to design high quality instruments in collaboration with the customer. I want to hand the player an instrument with which he can pursue his passion and precisely realize his musical ideas.

After studying in Markneukirchen, passing the master craftsman's examination and working with Andreas Cuntz, I now share a workshop with Max Spohn and Milena Schmoller in Rothenburg ob der Tauber.

Do not hesitate to contact me with your wishes, questions or suggestions.
Thank you for your interest in my instruments.
